  1. Reservations:If the chosen vehicle is not available then Phantom Rentals reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of similar or higher category to the Renter at no extra charge.
  2. Driver:All drivers must be at least 23 years old
  3. Driver’s License:All drivers must be able to present a valid,full driver’s license issued at least a year before the date of pick-up. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international driver’s license together with the regular driver’s license issued by their home country.
  4. Traffic Violations / Fines:All fines or charges levied by any Greek authority shall be borne by the Renter and Renter agrees that these can be charged to the Renter by credit card or cash
  5. Means of Payment: All payments must be made in full at the time of pick-up in the form of cash or card or by card online
  6. Cancellation Policy:No cancellation fee please inform us as soon as possible
  7. Fuel:The renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel upon collection, in case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the exact fuel difference. No refund will be effected for vehicles returned with more fuel

8.Accidents: In case of an accident, the Renter is obliged to immediately inform Phantom Rentals as well the authorities (police) and present the police accident report to the required police station.

9.Insurance:Phantom Rentals insurance automatically covers all third-party claims EXCEPT damages to tires wheels & undercarriage of the vehicle.. If Renter does not select any of our additional insurance options and the car is the subject of theft or damaged in any way or involved in an accident, then Phantom Rentals will make a Surcharge of €1000 . If it is subsequently determined that an accident was not Renter’s fault,then the renter is not obliged to pay. If Renter selects the ‘Extra Insurance’ option at the time of booking, then the Surcharge will be reduced to €600. If Renter selects the ‘Premium Insurance’ option at the time of booking, the surcharge will be reduced to 300€

10.vehicle cannot be used: Against the terms and conditions of this agreement.Against the high way code, To carry more persons than it is licenced for, To propel or tow any vehicle, trailer or other object. To transfer or carry heavy luggage or objects, inflammable materials, staining or badly smelling goods, narcotics, explosives, arms, etc.

11.Roadside Assistance: Roadside assistance due to malfunction of the vehicle is provided at no cost to the Renter. If the vehicle cannot be quickly repaired, then an alternative vehicle will be made available. If an alternative vehicle is not available, then the entire cost of the Rental will be refunded.

12.Geographic Restrictions: Under no circumstances may the vehicle be taken outside the borders of Corfu without the prior written authorisation of Phantom Rentals which may lead to additional charges.

  1. Key Loss:If the keys are lost and damaged the customer is responsible for the replacement costs

14.Disputes: In the event of a dispute between the Renter and Phantom Rentals which cannot be settled by negotiation, the Greek Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15.Use of car

All insurance coverings & waivers are valid provided that the renter has complied with all terms & conditions. The renter is obliged to pay for repair costs of any damage, caused to the rental vehicle, if the use of the car is not proper, as below:

-The vehicle is operated on any unauthorized road, non-asphalt road, dirt road, or off-road.

-The renter violates traffic rules (eg. road/STOP signs, speed limits, road direction, U-turns).

-The renter violates parking rules.

-The renter ignores any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle.

-The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, or rally or if the vehicle is used for the purpose of reward (taxi or courier service).

-The vehicle is driven by any that is not registered on the rental agreement.

-The driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any drug that affects his ability to drive the vehicle.

-The vehicle is operated outside of the agreed rental period.

-The vehicle is willfully or recklessly damaged by the renter (note: burning out a clutch, sitting/standing on the bonnet/boot/roof of the vehicle, or damages to the vehicle interior).
